Chinese OEM Elephone Reportedly Confirms P10 And P10C Models On Their Way

China certainly has no shortage of Android powered smartphones that come tagged with a low cost yet are housing some decent specifications. Two new devices from the Chinese manufacturer "Elephone" are apparently on their way and have been officially confirmed. The Elephone P10 and the Elephone P10C. Both devices are pretty similar save for a couple of updated features on the P10 model, which sounds to us like it'll be the higher end of the two. News of the P10 and the P10 C comes from an email gizchina reportedly received from the folks at Elephone themselves. The devices are both said to be running the latest version of Kit Kat at launch which at the moment is Android 4.4.2, and judging by the images this phone will be extremely thin. So for those of you that may actually be able to get a hold of either the P10 or the P10C and are partial to devices with a thin profile, take note and keep these on your radar.

Looking past the rather iOS-esque UI design elements, the P10 and the P10C both sound like decent offerings especially when you consider the price ranges they're rumored to be falling into. The prices aren't confirmed yet, but the rumors are stating somewhere around $130 for the P10C model, and the P10 likely won't be much more. When it comes to the P10C, anyone looking to buy this bad boy will be looking at a 5-inch IPS display with qHD resolution(960 x 540). The processor inside will be the MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. Network compatibility support will consist of GSM on bands 800, and 1900mhz, and WCDMA 3G bands 850 and 2100mhz. When it comes to storage space the phone is sporting support for up to 32GB via microSD but the internal storage space is not listed. considering the price the cameras actually don't sound too bad, coming in at 2MP on front and 8MP on back. The Elephone P10 as we stated above is said to be fairly similar, but gets a couple bumps up in the specs department, moving up from an 8MP rear camera to a 13MP, and foregoing to 5-inch IPS qHD display for a 5-inch HD display that carries a higher resolution of 1,280 x 720. Both phones are expected to launch in the near future.
