Today is the day. The day that the Samsung Galaxy S5 hits AT&T stores. That's right the next big thing has finally landed in your local AT&T store. Of course, AT&T isn't the only one to be releasing the device today, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint are also releasing their variants today. The AT&T version is identical to most other Galaxy S5 variants aside from the AT&T branding and pre-installed apps. AT&T is offering the device for $199 on contract for the 16GB version, which does have a microSD card slot that supports up to a 128GB microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display, that's a 1920x1080 resolution and it's said to be the best display ever made. It's also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Samsung's latest skin on top. But don't forget the fingerprint reader, heart rate monitor and the 16-megapixel camera which will probably blow away every other smartphone out there.
The Galaxy S5 is also available from Amazon, which gives you free shipping and $4 for next day delivery. It's so easy to order as well, especially compared to the carrier, and typically cheaper.
