The A-series tablets from Lenovo are on their way and they have some new functionality to bring to the table as part of the refresh. There are four tablets in total as part of the A-series that have gotten the overhaul. The TAB A7-40, TAB A7-50, TAB A8, and TAB A10. All four of these tablets are due to be available for consumer purchase in May which is just around the corner, but the launch will be limited to here in the US at first and rolling out to other regions shortly after. Both the A7 tablets will be sporting 7-inch displays, while the A8 comes with an 8-inch display, and the A10 tablet comes with a 10-inch display. At least two of the tablets come in their own unique color, and at least two of the tablets(The TAB A7-40 and 50) are being advertised as best meant for reading.
The TAB A7-40 will be the low end of the four, coming without a rear facing camera. It does however still retain the front facing camera for video chat. It also comes in a unique ebony color and has 8GB of storage. The TAB A7-50 will be the virtually the same on storage space and have the same size and quality resolution HD display for sharper text and web pages, comes with not only the 2Mp front facing camera, but the 5MP rear facing camera as well. Both the TAB A7's will come powered by quad-core processors and will be available for $129.
The TAB A8 will be equipped with an 8-inch HD display of course, and is to be the home entertainment device for on the go. It comes in its own unique color of midnight blue and will also be powered by a quad-core processor, but ups the ante with dolby digital sound to provide rich and immersive entertainment. The TAB A8 will be priced at $179. Lastly is the TAB A10, which has an HD 10-inch display, and is supposed to be geared towards individuals who are looking for an ultra-mobile multi-mode powerhouse, offering a great productivity experience, and when paired with the optional Bluetooth keyboard users can put the tablet in stand mode for a better viewing angle with whatever they're doing. The TAB A10 is priced at $249 without the Bluetooth keyboard, with it will cost an extra $50, to make a bundle of $299 with the tablet and keyboard together.
