Farmville 2: Country Escape Makes The Jump To Android

Become the farmhand you always knew you could be with Farmville 2. The popular Facebook hit from Zynga has landed in the Play Store today and is ready for all that you can give it. Do you have what it takes to have the biggest and best farm? Farville 2: Country Escape is the mobile version of the sequel of course to the regular Farmville, which has spawned many games like it on Android and mobile well before today's release. The game is free as you would expect, but there are loads of IAP, which is also expected of a free game like this one and especially from Zynga.

In Farmville 2: Country Escape, there's no shortage of duties to be had from harvesting crops to finding and collecting hidden and rare treasures. While this marks the first Farmville game from the publisher to land on Android, there are plenty of other mobile offerings that have been around for years and have near equally insane popularity like Words with Friends and Draw Something. Zynga admits that Farmville 2 has been slightly redesigned for mobile after their finding that people play their games differently on the web than they do on mobile devices, but in the end it's the same Farmville 2 that you'll find on the desktop offering through Facebook. There's still plenty of upgrades and timers you'll have to manage, and lots of land to cover with new buildings like your farm home and the big red barn to build. The good news for those of you that might have already put some time into the web based version of the game is that you can transfer certain things like crops between versions as part of a connected rewards feature, so you aren't stuck with starting completely over from scratch.

You'll have plenty of time to fish, build, trade, and garden to your hearts content, and while the game supports Google Play Games services for things like achievements, for the first time ever with Farmville, you can play the game while offline just in case you can't stay connected. This is great for anyone that constantly moves between connections. Are you a Farmville fan? The game is now live so you can get right into it.
