MasterCard In Control Releases
This week, MasterCard released a new app on the Play Store, and yes it’s US only. With this app you can keep track of everything with your card. Including receiving alerts when large purchases are made. To be sure that you are the one spending that money and not someone else, which I think is a great idea. Because let’s face it, identity theft happens, and sometimes you do lose your wallet. The MasterCard in Control app is here to help you out.
theScore Updates with new “Feed” Feature
This week, theScore also updated with a rather interesting new feature. It’s called “feed” which is explained down below. Of course there’s also the normal bug fixes with this update.
“Feed truly comes into its own during game time – it allows the user to follow multiple games, story lines and player stats in one easily customizable stream, with information updated in real-time and pushed to the top of their Feed as soon as there’s a development. It’s particularly useful for fantasy league tracking, telling you as soon as one of your guys has made a major scoring play.”
Latest Hulu Plus Update Brings Remote Control Functionality
Hulu Plus updated their app this week which brings a rather unique feature to the app on Android. Basically, you can go ahead and use your Android smartphone or tablet as a remote for Hulu Plus on your Xbox One, Xbox 360, or Playstation 4. It’s a pretty cool experience. But I’d rather just use Hulu Plus with Chromecast. Does pretty much the same thing, in my opinion.
eBay for Android Also Updates
This week, eBay for Android also saw a nice update to their app. Which brought along; A fresh look and added functionality in Messages, Attach up to 5 photos to a message, Actionable notifications with high quality images (Jelly Bean & above), Add your favorite charities and donate at checkout, Search improvements and refinement locking (rolling out slowly worldwide), Language support for Polish, Dutch, Flemish and Latin American Spanish.
