IMDB Hits v4.2
For those that don’t know, IMDB has a beta version, which you’ll need to join the appropriate Google+ community to take part in the beta. Version 4.2 left beta this week, and it brings quite the changelog, including a new navigation drawer, action bar with share notify and movie check-in features, special features section, celebrity heights, celebrity ages, movie, TV, and celebrity news now available on tablets and more.
My Verizon Mobile Brings back the Data Usage Widget
A while ago, a new update to the Verizon Mobile app got rid of the Data usage widget, but now it’s back. Verizon also has it auto-updating various times throughout the day, so be careful with that using up your data usage. But it’s nice to have it back with many people on tiered data these days. This version is rolling out over the next few weeks. Yay for staged rollouts.
Google Wallet Updated with the Ability to track current and past Online Orders
Google announced a new update to their Google Wallet app this week. This update is actually for both Android and iOS. It basically does one thing, new. Which is to add a new feature called Orders. Which requires your receipts to be first sent to your Gmail account. For those of us on Android, the update is in a staged rollout and rolling out now. So if you haven’t received it yet, you should get the update in the next few days.
Facebook Updated to support Photo Comments and Untagging
For those of you that still use Facebook, there was a new update this week which brings Photo Comments and Untagging to the app. You can also delete and edit photo albums, upload multiple photos at a time in groups and they fixed some bugs as usual with updates. The update hit last night and should be rolling out over the next few days if you haven’t already received it.
