Samsung Shows Off a Variety of New Accessories for Galaxy S 5, Gear 2 and Gear Fit

With Samsung's big announcement over, we are turning our attention over to some of the accessories that are compatible with Samsung's newest products. Today Samsung announced the Galaxy S 5, the Gear Fit and they also discussed the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo. The Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo allow for interchangeable bands, because they have moved the camera on the Gear 2 onto the actual device itself. Samsung's Galaxy S 5 has a 5.1-inch screen, 16-megapixel camera and a fingerprint scanner. The outside of the device is decked out in what Samsung is calling a "perforated" material.

With the last few Galaxy S devices, Samsung has announced accessories in the form of cases and covers. We're now beginning to see the first of these accessories. Android Central got a chance to take a look at some of these cases in person. Samsung has once again decided to manufacture their flip covers and S View covers. They also have wallet covers, as well. We're seeing these covers with new designs and color schemes. The bright, single color hues that we saw before are gone. The new cases appear to be leather with diagonal designs. Some of these cases even have hearts and peace signs on them.

We're also seeing headphones, external battery chargers and wireless charging pads. Samsung seems to have no shortage of accessories for their newest flagship. They also created some new watch straps and bands for their Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, as well as the Gear Fit.

These accessories have quite a different look than the ones for the Galaxy S 4. They come in different tons of different colors and designs. Also, for the first time, we're seeing watchbands for the Gears. This was previously not something that we saw because the original Gear's watchband was not interchangeable. Now you have more options and colors to match your mood and activities.

Personally, my favorite case is the flip cover with the heart on it. I'm also interested in seeing what the wallet cases look like inside. We'll keep an eye out for more accessories as time goes on, but it looks like Samsung is off to a really good start in terms of accessories.
