On Monday, Paick announced a brand new battery pack - not that we didn't already have enough to choose from - the Sleek is an ultra thin portable power bank. It also has an attached micro USB cable, as well as a built-in handle for easy portability. The Sleek is shaped like a smartphone and has a 6000mAh battery inside and is also dustproof.
The Paick is available right now for about $50 and is available from Amazon. Should be hitting more retailers soon. As far as dimensions go, it's 5.7 x 2.9 x 0.5 inches and weighs only about 5 ounces. Making it very lightweight, but with it only being 6000mAh it should be pretty light. It also includes a touch sensor switch for on/off controls to charge your device. It's said that the charging time is about 8 hours and battery life is about 500 hours. You should be able to get at least one full charge out of this power bank, depending on the phone or tablet you're trying to charge up as they all have different sized batteries.
It's great to have an embedded microUSB cord in the battery so that you don't need to find one to charge your device. Which is always a good thing. Unlike with the NewTrent PowerPak Ultra and the Dark Energy Reservoir which I recently reviewed, which need you to plug in a microUSB cord. But then again, having it embedded means less battery power in that space, not much, but it will be less. The Sleek also is protected with a UV processed surface which features an advanced anti-scratch technology.
Like we said the Sleek isn't going to be the biggest or cheapest battery pack you can get your hands on, but Paick is focusing on high-end mobile devices, which means they won't be the cheapest. But the Sleek is now available at Amazon, which you can get from the link below.
