Just yesterday, HTC sent out invites to an event on March 25th. Where they are expected to announce the successor to the HTC One. It'll be a simultaneous event in London and New York City, similar to what HTC did last year with the One. Since then, we've seen so many leaks about the HTC M8 that it's just plain insane. We found out last night, that HTC is calling it "The All New One", which isn't the name we all thought it'd be, but hey it's a name. That's more than what we had before.
Now the folks over at Geek.com have gotten their hands on an exclusive image of the HTC M8. This shows the top of the phone. Now it's hard to tell if that's with a case on or if it'll be black on the top and blue on the sides of the device. Which would look a bit awkward, but we had heard that HTC was going to launch the HTC M8 in Blue, Red, Black and white/silver. So it's quite possible that this could be the Blue one. But as you can see from the image, that the back still is not flat, which I kind of like, actually. You can see that the Power button is still on the top and doesn't really stick out that much either, unfortunately.
The HTC M8 is expected to be announced on March 25th. It's also expected to feature the same front-facing, BoomSound speakers that HTC made famous last year. Along with a "better" UltraPixel Camera. Although recent images have been showing us that there are two camera's on the back, we aren't sure what purpose they'll serve, and we probably won't know until they announce the M8 next month. But we can certainly speculate.
It looks more and more like the HTC M8 will look a lot like the HTC One. Which isn't bad because the One was a great looking device.
