Android Smartphone Deal: Verizon Galaxy Note 3 for $49 on New Contract

Right now, Amazon is offering the Galaxy Note 3 for Verizon for $149 on a new year contract. But since it’s on Verizon, they are also giving you a $100 new activation bill credit. Basically meaning you’re going to get the phone for $49.99 on a new contract. Additionally, you are able to trade in your current phone for another $100 off, but I’d suggest selling it on Swappa or eBay first. As you’d probably make more money off of selling it yourself.

The Galaxy Note 3 was announced back in September at IFA. It is currently Samsung’s flagship device, at least until the Galaxy S5 is announced next week. The Galaxy Note 3 has a 5.7-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, as well as 32GB of storage, and a 3200mAh battery inside. Of course you can’t forget the S Pen stylus and the fact it’s running Android 4.3.

The Verizon Galaxy Note 3 is available in both black and white from Amazon. Verizon obviously has a few more colors, like Gold, on their website. But then they are charging $299.99 for the Galaxy Note 3 on their website, so this is a much better deal, at least in my opinion. The Galaxy Note 3 is a great device, but if you don’t like big phones, then you probably won’t like it. Having said that, once you use the S Pen, you won’t want another device without one. If you do go ahead and pick up the Galaxy Note 3 from Verizon, be sure to let us know how you enjoy it.
