We put the camera of the Sony Xperia Z1s through its paces, and have plenty of pictures here for you to check out. There’s all kinds of pictures in low-light, outdoors, indoors, action shots, and much more. I was really impressed with the Xperia Z1s’ camera, it’s definitely the best part of the Xperia Z1s, although the build quality is pretty good as well. The camera app does have a few other apps included, which include Background Defocus, and AR effect. We experimented with those as well and have those pictures in the gallery below as well.
We also have a couple of sample videos of the Xperia Z1s video camera down at the bottom of this post for those that are interested. I’m very impressed with the video portion of the camera on the Xperia Z1s as well. It’s definitely better than most other cameras out there. Although the Galaxy Note 3 can record in 4K, it can’t playback in 4K unless you have a 4K monitor or TV that you’re watching it on. Which sucks, but it does make it future proof. Which would have been nice if Sony had added 4K into their camera as well, especially since they are selling a bunch of 4K TV’s and such.
The Xperia Z1s has a 20.7MP Sony G Lens on the back, which has an aperture of f/1.8, and has a 1/2.3″ sensor. On the front it’s sporting a 2MP camera.
