Earlier today, Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab Pro tablets and the Galaxy Note Pro. Now, Logitech has announced a new case for all of these tablets. This one is a folio-style case which comes with a full-sized Bluetooth keyboard and doubles as a tablet stand. It's designed to fit the new 12-inch tablets Samsung announced today, the Logitech Pro has a thin design and "durable and wipeable" exterior according to Logitech. It also wraps around the edge of the tablets to prevent scratches on the screen and even protect against spills. Logitech is using their SecureLock system to hold the tablet in place, which is just a fancy term for a few low-profile clips that fasten the tablet to the case without getting in the way.
The Pro also comes with a full QWERTY Bluetooth keyboard, because well let's face it. A 12-inch tablet might be a bit difficult to type on. I know I have trouble with the Nexus 10 and Galaxy Note 10, so I'm sure the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will be a stretch as well. The keyboard also includes a row of special Android shortcut keys such as recent apps, quick panel and email. Logitech has stated that the keys are spaced out in a way to allow for easy typing.
Similar to most other folio cases out there, this one can also transform into a stand, which can prop up either of the tablets in two configurations. You can have it propped up with the keyboard lying flat on a desk or tablet, or you can fold the keyboard away and use the tablet flat on a surface or even in your lap. Hopefully we'll be able to get some hands-on, on these new cases for each of Samsung's new "Pro" tablets they announced today. The Logitech Pro is slated to be available in the US and parts of Europe and Asia starting in February 2014, it'll retail for about $129.99 USD.
