HTC M8 May Come With Smaller Bezels

As expected, the leaks keep coming and rumors keep building weeks before the launch of the HTC M8. The newest addition to the rumor pile, is in regards to the bezels. We may be seeing much thinner bezels on the new HTC flagship device, in comparison to the HTC One.

There are plenty of leaksters that we all pay attention to, especially when it comes time to release new flagship devices. That time is fast approaching, and so news is somewhat slow, unless you consider rumors and leaks as news. We have had @evleaks, tell us about the Samsung Galaxy S5, as well as the HTC M8. Not giving us all the info, but little tidbits here and there. The good news is, that there is more than one leakster, and we can put all of the information together, to get a better idea about the next devices.

@shen_ye has taken to twitter, to tell us that the bezels of the HTC M8 will be "much thinner." The idea of smaller bezels makes sense, when we consider that the new HTC flagship is rumored to have on-screen buttons instead of capacitive ones.

So now, we have more of an idea, a mental image of what the HTC M8 may look like. It would not be hard to believe, that HTC may go with a very similar design to the HTC One, since it won many awards and was very well received. Why mess with something that is amazing?

Still, if we start there, with the idea of the HTC One, all we have to do is switch some aspects around. Imagine a 5-inch, 1080p display, now, get rid of the capacitive buttons and thin out the bezels. Once you have that, add on-screen buttons, and you may have the HTC M8.

The device is said to be launched in February or March, and is also expected to have a mini version. So after picturing the device as described above, what do you think? would these design changes be enough to hold your attention, or are you hoping for a complete revamp of the design?
