There aren't a whole lot of docks for the Moto X, at least not ones specifically made for the Moto X. Back in September, the Griffin Car Dock was made available at Motorola's store as well as Griffin's store, unfortunately it's not available on Amazon just yet. So we can't enjoy free two-day shipping, I'm sure many of you are spoiled by that just like I am. But it quickly went out of stock and didn't come back in stock until today. The car dock is available for $40.
The car dock does have a suction cup, so it can stick to your windshield or your dashboard. It's also completely hands-free, thanks to Motorola's Touchless Control. So you can easily say "Ok Google now, navigate to _____" which is always nice to have. As well as being able to send texts, play music and much more while you're driving without actually having to touch your phone. The Griffin car dock will automatically put your phone in Car mode as well. Which is always nice not to have to put your phone into car mode when you put it in the dock.
We haven't had a chance to check out the Griffin Car dock yet, but since it is back in stock, we should be able to get one for review, so we'll be sure to review it for all our Moto X owners out there. It's always nice to have a car dock for your phone, especially if you use it for GPS. But it's even better to have one that's specifically made for your phone. How many of you are going to be spending the $40 to pick up the Car Dock for the Moto X from Griffin Technology? Be sure to let us know in the comments down below.
