AT&T Drops the Price of the Moto X and LG G2 to Free on a New 2-year Contract for a Limited Time

Two of my personal favorite smartphones on AT&T are on sale for free with a new two-year contract. That would be the Motorola Moto X and the LG G2. They normally cost $99.99 on a new contract, but AT&T has dropped the price to $0.00 with a new two-year contract, and the deal ends Jan. 31st. AT&T is stating that this deal is only available on their website. And there’s no deal for buying the phone outright and not getting a new contract with AT&T. Which is unfortunate for those that don’t want a new contract, but we can understand why it’s being done this way.

The LG G2 is an amazing device, it sports a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS+ display, along with a Snapdragon 800 and 2GB of RAM inside. It’s running Android 4.2.2 right now and has a 13MP camera on the back with a 2MP shooter on the front. On the other hand, the Moto X is also free on contract and sports a 4.7-inch 720p AMOLED display, with a Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM and a 2200mAh battery powering it. Once more the Moto X is still customizeable via MotoMaker. What’s even better is that the Moto X already has KitKat, while the LG G2 still has to wait a few more months for the update, unfortunately.

If any of you are interested in picking up either the Motorola Moto X or the LG G2 from AT&T between now and the end of the month, you can grab the LG G2 here and the Moto X here. Or you can grab them from Amazon as well. I know we’ve got a lot of AT&T customers out there, so how many of you are planning on picking up either device from AT&T during this sale for the next couple of weeks?
