Android Tablet Deals: ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T On Sale for $399.95

Back in September, ASUS announced the Transformer Pad TF701T. It's a somewhat minimal update compared to the TF701T, but it's still a beast of a tablet. Complete with a 10.1-inch 2560x1600 resolution IPS display, Tegra 4 chip inside, 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, and it even has a dock, so it can become the ultimate Netbook. Of course the keyboard dock is sold separately as it has been with all the previous versions of the Transformer.

The ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T is normally about $450, but today, Amazon has it on sale for $400 - well technically $399.95 - and it is eligible for Amazon Prime shipping. So if you're an Amazon Prime member like myself, you can get the ASUS TF701T in just two days, free shipping as well. Or you can pay $3.99 to get it the next day. Sounds like a good deal right? Well it sure is.

The ASUS TF701T is still running Android 4.2 unfortunately, but that should change soon as ASUS is usually pretty good about updates, and their skin isn't that heavy compared to HTC and Samsung's skin. With the keyboard dock, you'll be able to use USB drives as well so you won't be limited to just the 32GB of storage, although it also has a microSD card slot too, which supports up to 64GB of storage. So you shouldn't worry about not having enough storage.

This is a great tablet for gaming, primarily because it's running the Tegra 4 processor from NVIDIA. That processor has 72 GPUs, so it better be good for gaming, in the past the Tegra chips have been really great for tablets and gaming, so I'm sure the Tegra 4 will be very similar. This is a great gift for those looking for a tablet this holiday season. If you pick this up as a gift, I'm sure they'll love it.
