Android Smartphone Deal: AT&T Moto X On sale for $5 on Contract Without MotoMaker Customization

Here's a great deal, in case you missed the Moto X for $350 off contract on Wednesday. However this does not include MotoMaker, unfortunately, since it is from Amazon and Motorola or AT&T. The Moto X is a pretty great device. In fact, there's been a lot of Nexus 5 vs Moto X stories and videos surfacing lately. Primarily because the devices are so much alike, except the Moto X has more features that you're likely to take advantage of. Like the Active Display. And Touchless Controls.

The Moto X is available on all the carriers, and for a good bit it was selling at $0.01 on contract. Well the prices have gone back up now since the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are just about done, and well the AT&T one has gone back down a bit now. The AT&T Moto X on a new 2-year contract is going for $5. That's crazy, especially when you factor in how great of a phone this is. Sure on paper it looks like a mid-range device, but it's very far from a mid-range device. It can compete with the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, HTC One, LG's G2 and others. Just take a look at our poll last night and you'll see.

The Moto X has been one of my favorite phones released in 2013. And it's about to become my daily driver, since I did take advantage of Motorola's Cyber Monday sale on Wednesday to get a customized Moto X for T-Mobile for $350. Anyone that asks me what phone they should get, I tell them the Moto X. Simply because, chances are, if they are asking me what phone they should get, the specs won't matter much to them. And features like Motorola Assist, Connect, Active Display, Touchless Controls and the others, are ones they will use.

How many of you are going to pick up a AT&T Moto X for $5 today? Let us know in the comments below.
