Android Holiday Gift Ideas Day #10: Ultimate Ears BOOM Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

There are so many great Bluetooth speakers out there. I've even reviewed a ton of them. But the Ultimate Ears BOOM speaker is one I've heard a lot about (I also have a review unit on the way, so I'll put up a full review soon) and how great the speaker is. It's a pretty expensive speaker, but from what I've been told, it's worth it, which is a good thing. It'll set you back about $180. Now it also comes in about 6 different colors. Which my personal favorite is the blue and yellow one (Go Blue!).

The UE BOOM is a 360-degree speaker that drops bold, immersive sound in every direction. It's also a very versatile, go anywhere shape, that is designed to be spontaneous. There's also a color acoustic skin with plasma coating which makes the UE BOOM Water and stain resistant. Which is great for those clumsy people out there. You can also switch songs, adjust volume, and take calls from up to 50 feet away. The rechargeable battery inside has about 15 hours of playback. But I've found it usually lasts longer than what the manufacturers say. Additionally, you can connect two UE BOOMs together in stereo via the UE BOOM app to spread the sound and pump up the volume. Which is a pretty cool feature, hopefully it works better then the Supertooth Disco Twin speakers.

Like I said, I've got a couple of these coming in soon to review, so hopefully I can get a review done before Christmas for those interested in the UE BOOM. I have heard nothing but great things from everyone I know that has one. So I'm expecting great things. The UE BOOM is going to be a great gift for any audiophile out there.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from everyone here at Android Headlines!
