Android Holiday Gift Ideas Day #15: Anker 25W 5-Port USB Desktop Charger

These days it's better to have USB plugs in the wall then the traditional outlets. As just about everything we use now use USB cables to charge. Anker has a few great accessories that will help us charge all of our stuff without having to have cords plugged in all over the house.

The Anker 25W 5-Port USB Desktop charger holds 5 USB ports so you can charge up to 5 devices at once with this device. This is especially important for those that are like me that have plenty of phones, tablets, and even Bluetooth speakers, that all charge using USB cables. Anker does have one with even more ports, we'll probably feature that one later this week. This one includes a 5-foot power cord so it doesn't need to be too close to the outlet to charge all your devices.

This one has 5 ports designed to charge an iPad, iPhone, a Samsung Galaxy Tab, an Android devices. The total combined output is 5A. Each port is designed differently, based on what device. Since phones normally don't take as much power in as tablets do, it's important that you pay attention to that. It's got a compact, unibody design which makes portability a breeze. It's also using industrial-grade plastic on the outer shell and premium circuitry to ensure lifetime reliability. As far as input voltage goes, it uses AC110-220V which is ideal for international travelling.

Anker has plenty of other devices, which we've talked about here on Android Headlines in the past. They have just about everything you could want from an assortment of external battery packs, to dual-USB port plugs for both your home and car, and everything in between. They also make some pretty great devices, which is why we recommend them so highly. So if you know anyone that has a ton of devices, this is probably a great gift for them!
