Android Holiday Gift Idea Day #12: Beats by Dr Dre Pill Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

Those of you looking for a nice Bluetooth speaker, you may want to check out the Pill speaker from Beats Audio. This one comes in a slew of colors including black, blue, red, grey, white and pink. It's also about $200 from Amazon. The Beats Pill Bluetooth Speaker does feature tap-to-pair with NFC technology which allows for easy  and instant Bluetooth 2.1 and above support. It also supports SBC, aptX, and AAC codecs for high quality streaming. Additionally, the Beats Pill speaker also provides a clear, full-range sound delivered in a portable lightweight package. There's also an internal microphone for Bluetooth call functionality. You can use the Aux input for other MP3 players, phones, PCs or anything with an analog output for optimal sound from all devices. You can also connect this speaker to other speakers using the line-out cable that comes along with this speaker. Which is pretty awesome too.

The Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker is a nice looking speaker,  and it'll probably take up less space than many of the other Bluetooth speakers you'll see on the market. Like the Supertooth Disco Twins. For those that want to be sure the get this speaker in time for Christmas, you can select Standard shipping at checkout and still get it in time for Christmas. Since it is sold by Front Row Electronics and not directly from Amazon, there is no Amazon Prime option for free 2-day shipping. Which kind of sucks, but hey most of us are spoiled by Amazon Prime, I know I am.

This is one of those Bluetooth wireless speakers that I haven't been able to check out yet, but I'm sure it's a great one as Beats Audio's other stuff is pretty good. I have a pair of earbuds from Beats Audio that are really good, but I prefer Bose over Beats Audio. This is a good Bluetooth speaker for those that love their music, especially Rap and Hip-Hop as the bass is extra loud and crisp.
