Android Gift Ideas Day #22: ASUS Transformer TF701T

Anyone looking for a new tablet this holiday season, there's not many better than the ASUS TF701T. Not only for the price but also the specs, as well as the keyboard dock that is also made by ASUS for the Transformer TF701T. The ASUS TF701T is on sale for about $400 right now with Amazon Prime shipping, which does offer next day delivery for about $4. The ASUS TF701T does have a 10.1-inch display which is a 2560x1600 resolution display. It's also got 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a Tegra 4 processor powering the tablet as well as about 13-hours of battery life. Not bad for a tablet.

Additionally, since this is a Transformer tablet, it does have a keyboard dock, which doesn't come with the tablet, but it's about an additional $135. But we'll have the link down below with the tablet link if you're interested. The TF701T is one of the best spec'd tablets out there right now. Up there with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. But it's a few hundred less. It does have Android 4.2.2 on board, along with ASUS' custom skin. But it'll probably see Android 4.4 - KitKat rather soon. As ASUS is usually pretty good with updates. So definitely not bad for only $400.

ASUS has had great success with the Transformer line of tablets. It's really what got them into the Android game. This holiday season, they have a tablet for everyone. There's the Nexus 7, the MeMO Pad FHD 10, and the ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T, all hitting different price points, which is good to see. For those looking for a great last minute gift, you'll love the ASUS TF701T. Grab one today before it's too late. If you do pick up a ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T, be sure to let us know in the comments below how you like it.
