Action and adventure games play to our imagination on the highest scale. We play them to escape into a world of wonder and live the lives of the characters within. Its only natural that we seek adventure, and these types of games do a great job at providing us with plenty of it. Some of the best games of the year include Assassins Creed Pirates, Rayman Fiesta Run, Dokuro, Kingdom Rush Frontiers, Heroes of Dragon Age, Star Wars: Tiny Death Star, Ridiculous Fishing, Micro Miners, Punch Quest, and Quadrapus Rampage. Each offers a completely different style of adventure but each is also action packed and some of the most imaginative, hilarious, and goofy fun you'll have playing a game.

Badland is about as epic as games get. The game starts out free, which you can play till a certain point upon which you'll be greeted with the option to continue playing with ads, or buy a game pack that allows you even more levels ad free. The game makeup is fairly simple actually, where you'll need to guide your little fluffy character throughout each level and help him reach the end. It has an almost hypnotic feel to it with the soothing background audio that does nothing if not immerse you in the game to make you feel like you're actually there. Each level is made up of gorgeous background visuals that if you're not careful will draw your attention away from the prize. In each stage, you'll have three missions to complete, which get considerably harder as you progress further. There are 80 levels total across "two days", with a whopping 240 missions(120 in each day). when and if you complete every single level and mission there is, you can even play in Badlands multiplayer mode which brings the adventure to a whole new level and allowing a total of up to four players on one device. Its interesting to say the least but if you want your friends to get in on the fun, have them play badland with you. Badland is available now and you can grab this masterpiece from the Play Store for free.
