Weekly Poll: Did You Order a Nexus 5?

Last Thursday, we didn't get a chance to do our weekly poll since Google hit us with the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 - KitKat launch. So we were busy covering the crap out of both products. In fact, on Thursday, we did 63 posts. So there's plenty of KitKat and Nexus 5 information on the site.

As much as I said I would not buy a Nexus 5, I went on and did it. I lasted until Monday, then I broke down and ordered one. I picked up the 32GB in White, or as some call it "the panda phone". When I ordered it, it said 2-3 weeks for shipping. Also the Play Store said it would ship on November 22nd. Here we are less than 3 full days later and I have my white 32GB Nexus 5 in hand. Although, I've had the Nexus 5 since Tuesday, a review unit from Google. So I actually have the 32GB Black and White versions here. I am definitely impressed with the Nexus 5. Even with the camera. It appears that OIS really helped out the camera, and I'm sure KitKat had a part in that as well. But battery life is still not where I think it should be. Of course, I could just be used to the Galaxy Note 3, LG G2 and DROID Maxx's battery life. Since those are the phones I've been using for the past 2-3 months.

So Google's launch of the Nexus 5 went a bit more smoothly this year than the Nexus 4 launch did last year. That was a huge mess. Although there were still some quirks, hopefully they'll have all of those worked out by the Nexus 6 launch next year, or whatever they decide to call it. So how many of you picked up a Nexus 5 in the past week? How was your Play Store experience? Be sure to let us know in the comments below, also feel free to vote in the poll below.
