Sony's Mini Powerhouse The Xperia Z1s With Snapdragon 800 Quadcore Processor Has Been Leaked

The world of tech, is filled with dedicated leaders, tightly woven followers, hardcore fans, and fueled by leaksters. Thats right, the world of tech doesn't really know how to follow rules very well. We have a perfect example and some proof in the leaked photos of the Sony Xperia Z1s.

The Sony Xperia Z1s, is the mini version of the Sony Xperia Z1, and is expected to be released with the same specs as the Xperia Z1. This a nice change of pace from other device manufacturers and their mini versions of their flagship devices. The images show the device with a ruler which only proves the theory that this is the mini version of the Xperia Z1, since it is about 65mm smaller.

You have to love the dedication to the idea that knowledge is free for all people, and the leakster behind these photos really shows his dedication. Read the warnings on the back of the Sony Xperia Z1s. You will also notice that the device is in Russian, where rules are very seldom followed to a point.

Now a similar mini version of the Xperia Z1 has already been announced, and goes by the ever so clever name the Sony Xperia Z1f. The Z1f is only going to be available in Japan, but maybe this new Xperia Z1s will be the world wide version. Uncertainty looms as we take a moment and appreciate the dedication of this leakster. Whoever you are, we are grateful. If this device is anything like the Sony Xperia Z1f, than the specs should be as follows:

  • 720p 4.3 inch display

  • 2GB Ram

  • Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor

  • 20.7MP rear camera/ 2.2MP front facing Camera

  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box

There was an additional rumor that the announcement of this device was going to be on November 13th 2013, but there was no such event. Instead we got some leaked photos and remain waiting. So we will wait, and keep our eyes on Sony for some official word about this mini powerhouse device, only known as the Sony Xperia Z1s.
