Have you ever been out and about and wanted to access your own personal mobile hotspot and use the same device to charge your smartphone? Well if you answered yes, and you’re an AT&T customer, than you’re in luck. AT&T has launched what they call the Unite Pro, which is a product of AT&T teaming up with Netgear.

The Unite Pro will allow for access to AT&T’s 4G LTE network on multiple devices. The Unite Pro has a 2.4-inch touch screen control panel on the front, and makes configuring security and access easy to handle. The touch screen also comes in handy to keep track of your data usage and turn on dual band WiFi. As well, this little device is capable of dual-band WiFi and even supports LTE-A, so connecting to different types of devices will be easier. The screen isn’t the only thing to see here, the Unite Pro doubles as a power boost for your mobile devices.

The battery boost available from the Unite Pro in three different levels. You have the option of adding 30, 60, or 90 minute boosts to any device you have in your arsenal. Again, the way to control this will be through the touch screen on the Unite Pro itself. And this will probably take away from the suggested 16 hours of battery life that AT&T claims the Unite Pro has already. According to AT&T, those 16 hours of battery life are continuous use hours, so it should last a whole day of use while out and about. Even if you were to travel worldwide, you can roam with the Unite Pro, but of course this comes with massive roaming charges no doubt.

The Unite Pro is available from AT&T starting November 22nd, and has a starting price of $49.99, of course there is a contract in there somewhere. In order to use AT&T’s data network, and get the Unite Pro for that price, you will need to sign a two year contract. So this is the result of a Netgear and AT&T team up, and it looks pretty useful, AT&T has been launching these nifty video promos with their latest announcements, so we went ahead and added their video below.
