Android Tablet Deals: Nexus 7 (2013) Available for $199 on Amazon

Earlier this week, we saw that Amazon and Newegg had dropped the price of the 32GB Nexus 7 (2013) to $239 from $269. Now it appears that Amazon has also dropped the price of the 16GB Neuxs 7 (2013) to $199, from $229. The Nexus 7 (2013) is definitely our number one choice for a new tablet this holiday season. Not just because it's a Nexus tablet, but because it has the highest resolution on any 7-inch tablet available right now. Along with the fact that it's running Android 4.4 KitKat, a Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM and a 3950mAh battery inside.

The Nexus 7 is on our Holiday Tablet Gift Guide which we wrote earlier today, and you might as well grab one now if it's on your list this holiday season, as I doubt Black Friday will have it any cheaper than $199. The Nexus 7 is a great tablet, and will most likely be supported for a couple more years. It's gotten great reviews, including our own review. It is part of Amazon Prime so you can even get free 2-day shipping for the Nexus 7, since it's actually sold by Compared to the other 7-inch tablets out there, the Nexus 7 (2013) is probably the best one, unless you want the Kindle Fire HDX, which does have better specs, but it's also locked into the Amazon ecosystem, which means no Play Store access and no Gmail, or any other Google apps. Which kind of sucks, but that's how it works for Amazon.

How many of you are going to grab a Nexus 7 for someone on your shopping list this holiday season? How many of you are looking to see a Nexus 7 (2013) under the Christmas tree in about a month? Let us know in the comments down below. About half of the Android Headlines Staff has a Nexus 7 and we all love the device.
