Nexus 5 16GB Version Shows Up in the Play Store for $349....Kind Of

Well here we go. We know we're getting closer and closer to the announcement of the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 - KitKat. So far there's no official word on when the announcement will take place, no invites sent yet either. This evening it looks like the Nexus 5 is showing up on the Google Play website now. If you go to Devices then select the "Nexus" heading, you'll see the image above. As you can see it lists the Nexus 5, 7 and 10. This pretty much confirms the Nexus 5 will be priced at $349 for the 16GB version. So how do we know it's the 16GB version? Check out the end of this link  https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_5_black_16gb, that explains it all. Nexus 5, black, 16GB all for $349. While you can click on the Nexus 5., you can't actually see anymore information about the Nexus 5. So like we said, it's sort of there.

There are so many rumors going around about announcement dates for the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4. We really don't know when it's coming. But we do know it's coming soon. So far, just about everything about both have leaked out. The only thing that may surprise us as this point is the Nexus 10 and maybe a smartwatch. It would be weird if Google didn't hold an event, since they are changing the name of this version of Android. Along with announcing the Nexus 5, 10 and possibly another surprise. Yes I know they didn't hold an event last year...only they did. The original plan was to have an event on October 30th. But thanks to Hurricane Sandy that was cancelled and Google just released everything through a press release.

So when will it go on sale? Who knows. Hopefully soon. As I'm full of excitement as I'm sure the rest of you are as well. We'll keep our eye out and see what happens, but I'm sure this will disappear quickly.
