Sponsored App Review: Next Launcher Soft Theme

Description: Next Launcher Theme Soft is a collection of themes for the third-party launcher, Next Launcher. If you're unfamiliar with Next Launcher, it's a 3D launcher from the GO Dev Team behind the popular GO Launcher. The Soft Theme comes in a variety of colors, ranging from black, blue and green to orange, pink and and red. Each theme features its own clock widget, which matches each theme's color, and the themes also support 3D mode. All of these themes are available on the Play Store to download. However, before you go any further, make sure you have the Next Launcher installed, which you can try for free here, on your device. You can take a look at the video below to get a closer look at the themes:

How it Works: You need to have the Next Launcher installed before you do anything else. After that, you can go ahead and start installing the themes from the Play Store. Like the black theme:

You can download the Black Theme here.

The blue theme works well with stock Android ROMs and can be found here.

You can get the green version of the soft theme here.

You can get the orange theme here.

The pink theme, a good choice for the ladies or those looking for something more striking, can be downloaded from the Play Store – like all the rest.

The red theme, my favorite, can be downloaded here.

Opinion: Customizing things is one of the biggest draws for Android and users will often obsess about how their homepage looks and feels. The Next Launcher itself is a pretty great launcher but, with these themes, you can make things really pop on your device. With a range of six colors, including pink and black, there's something for everyone. With futuristic-looking icons and deep colors, these themes are a great addition to the large variety already available on the Play Store. It's a shame that the Next Launcher itself is quite so expensive but, these themes will help show off your investment.

  • Speed (4/5) – These themes will make no difference to how the Next Launcher runs on your device.
  • Features (4/5) – With a whole raft of icons, six colors and a futuristic feel, the Soft theme for the Next Launcher has a lot of the right boxes ticked.
  • Theme (5/5) – This type of look might not be for everyone but, those looking for a way to show off their powerful smartphone in a range of colors will be surprised.
  • Overall (4/5) – Sure, these may just be themes but, they come with a whole range of icons and it's available in six colors.

  • With six colors – black, blue, green, orange, pink and red – to choose from there's something for most users here.
  • Full compliment of icons are included with each color of the theme.
  • Just a quick install, no effort required.
  • Really helps show off the 3D effects of the Next Launcher.

  • It's a shame the Next Launcher itself is so pricey.
  • Versions for other launchers would be great.

Conclusion: The Soft theme collection for the Next Launcher offers deep, futuristic colors that really help show off the 3D launcher people seem to love. Thanks to the six colors on offer – black, blue, green, orange, pink and red – there's something to fit most people's styles, the red color is my favorite. It's easy to setup and unlike some other themes, you don't have to worry about missing icons as they're all included in each color of the theme you choose to use. Obviously, this depends on you having the Next Launcher installed, which could be a dealbreaker for some but, if you're invested in the 3D launcher, then you're going to like this range of themes.

For years now I've had a heavy interest in technology, growing up with 8-bit computers and gaming consoles has fed into an addiction to everything that beeps. Android saved me from the boredom of iOS years ago and I love watching the platform grow. As an avid reader and writer nothing pleases me more than to write about the exciting world of Android, Google and mobile technology as a whole.
