@Evleaks Leaks Out The Google LG Nexus 5 Press Shots

Ready for another Nexus 5 press shot? Well @evleaks thinks that we haven't seen enough already. First we saw the one from TELUS, then the one from the Play Store when Google "accidentally" posted the Nexus 5 in the store. Now we've got one from everyone's favorite leaker, that's Evleaks.

This press shot looks just like all the other images we've seen in the past month or so. You can even see the new icons which we've seen in many KitKat leaks as well as the new app drawer, folder and even the transparent navbar and status bar (which I think look amazing). We already knew that the Nexus 5 announcement and release is right around the corner, but the fact that Evleaks has now leaked it means we are really close. He doesn't generally leak things until the release or announcement is a couple of weeks away or less.

Google's been rumored to announce the Nexus 5, and KitKat on so many dates that it might be easier to count the days that it hasn't been rumored to be announced on. We know it's coming soon, and I personally hope it comes out within the next week. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I'm getting tired of all these rumors. As far as specs go we're looking at a 4.96-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, 16GB and 32GB models, LTE, and a 2300mAh battery inside. Sure it's not a huge upgrade, and many will complain about the battery size, but for $350 it's definitely not a bad price. Especially considering it's unlocked and off contract.

LG is making this one, just like they did the Nexus 4. Which really helped put them on the map, well back on the map, in the smartphone race. Competing with Samsung isn't easy, but slowly LG is catching up to them. How many of you are waiting on the Nexus 5 to land in the Play Store and click buy? Or watch all the errors it gives you this year. Let us know in the comments below.
