Finally, Google Play gift cards are now in Canada. They are available in $15, $25, and $50 values and you can find them at a variety of stores including Shoppers Drug Mart, Future Shop, Target, 7-11, Best Buy, Mac’s, Walmart, Pharmaprix, Circle K, and Couche-Tard.

Canadian Carriers team up to Launch a Database of Stolen Phones


Since Smartphones became the big thing, many of them are getting stolen everyday. I know it’s a huge problem here in the US, so I suspect it’s the same in Canada. Now the Canadian carriers have teamed up together to launch a centralized database of stolen phones. Which is a great idea.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to cost $800 at Rogers Outright


Many of our Canadian friends like to buy their phone outright to stay out of that 3-year contract, although it’s now 2-years. But we thought you might like to know that the Galaxy Note 3 will cost $800 outright from Rogers.

I kinda thought we were done with this whole push-to-talk thing, but it looks like TELUS is bringing it back. This time its powered by LTE and they are calling it Link. Its compatible with all operating systems too. That includes iOS, Android, Blackberry 7 and BB10.

Galaxy S4 Mini to cost $499.95 outright on Bell


Bell is selling the Galaxy S4 Mini beginning today, and it’ll cost $499.95 if you’re looking to buy it outright. It’s also slated to launch on Rogers, TELUS, NorthernTel and Virgin Mobile, but no release date yet.

Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra coming to Bell Soon


The Sony Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra are making their way to Canada very soon. In fact the Xperia Z Ultra is going to be a Bell exclusive. That’s a really big exclusive right there! The Xperia Z1 is also launching on bell, but it’s not an exclusive just yet.
