Samsung's S View covers are one of the unique accessories that set Samsung devices apart from other smartphones. The flip covers replace the back door of the phone with a protective shell. Attached to this back is a cover for the front of the phone that has a window so you can view notifications and alerts. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 S View cover adds a little something extra that users will love.
The Galaxy Note 3 comes with enhanced S Pen support, and the S View cover for Samsung's new large-screen flagship supports that S Pen functionality. This S View cover has a large window that will let you control the phone, and the S Pen will work right through the cover. You don't have to even flip open the cover.
Samsung has really made an effort to increase the quality of their craftsmanship with the Galaxy Note 3 and this new S View cover. The smartphone itself will be sold with a stitched leather back cover. The S View cover will be sold in quite a few color options, 10 to be exact. There will be seasonal collections that will include metallic hues and versions designed by Nicholas Kirkwood and Moschino. The larger S View cover window will also let you make calls and access device information along with checking messages. Having this larger window prevents users from having to activate the whole display, saving precious battery life.
Samsung's S View covers have been popular with their previous Galaxy devices, too. The Galaxy S4 is the most recent, but they have been refining the covers and making them better for quite some time. If you like Samsung's Galaxy line of smartphones and tablets, these cases fit right in. Samsung seems to be creating its own ecosystem with these and other products, like the newly announced Galaxy Gear smartwatch. The Galaxy Gear watch only works with Galaxy devices. We expect the Korean company to continue this trend, following in Apple's footsteps.
Samsung has not given us a lot of details about the new S View covers for the Galaxy Note 3. We don't yet know when they will be available or how much they will cost, but we'll let you know as soon as we find out.
