Timely launches on the Play Store

Late last night, or early this morning, depending on your time zone, Timely for Android launched on the Play Store. It's a new alarm clock that syncs your alarms across your devices and much more. What's interesting about Timely is that it allows you to unlock features by sharing Timely on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Google+. You can grab it on the Play Store now.

Barnes & Noble Release Nook Video Apps

Today Barnes & Noble released their Nook video apps for Android, iOS and even the Roku. It allows you to watch videos on virtually any mobile device. Unless of course you're using a Windows Phone or a Blackberry.

Braven and Incipio Merging

Today, Incipio announced that they have acquired Braven. Incipio is known for their cases, we've even reviewed quite a few of them here on the site. While Braven is known for their portable speakers. Many of which we've reviewed in the past 6 months or so. It's exciting times, and I'm excite to see what is made of all of this.

NFC Task Launcher Gets Updated

Today, the NFC Task Launcher got updated in the Play Store. It brings along a slew of bug fixes and new features. Here's the full changelog from the Play Store:

READ_CONTACTS - used with new contact picker to allow selection of contacts on Email, SMS and Email actions
REQUEST_WAKE_LOCK - used to allow time tasks to wake the device and act

NFC Ring Hits it's Kickstarter goal in just 3 days

You know that NFC Ring that went to kickstarter? Well it hit its goal in just 3 days, and by the time the campaign was over, it hit 8x the goal they had. Not bad.
