Possible Verizon Employee Exclusive Motorola Droid Ultra Pictured

We're getting closer and closer to the Motorola announcement of their new line of Droids. In fact, we know it's happening next Tuesday in New York City. Today, @Evleaks has found  the render shown above which shows the Droid Ultra in Red. And damn does it look sexy. We've seen other colors of Verizon phones in the past, that have been for Verizon employees. Like the Red Droid DNA, the grey and green HTC 8X (Windows Phone) and the Red Motorola Droid Razr Maxx. So we're pretty sure this is a Verizon Employee exclusive, which kind of sucks. Although, I'd be more than happy to be wrong about this one.

As we said already, Verizon has sent us an invite to their press event on July 23rd, in NYC where they are going to announce the next generation in one of their most successful lines of phones. Which basically screams "Droid". We're just hoping that JLo isn't there (and if she is, she can actually see the teleprompter this time). The Droid Ultra is one of three new Droids coming from Motorola for Verizon. There's also the Droid Mini, and Droid Maxx. Which I'm sure you can tell by the names what they are. The Droid Mini, is a smaller phone, while the Droid Maxx is basically the Droid Ultra with a huge battery. It's been accidentally advertised as lasting 48 hours.

I'm definitely liking the red Droid Ultra, and if the Droid Ultra wasn't a Verizon exclusive, that would probably be my next phone. Unless they offer the Droid Maxx in Red. This is why carrier exclusives suck. We'll know more about the Droid line coming up at their July 23rd event. As always we'll be bringing you all the news from the event and breaking down everything from the event as well.

How many of you are liking the red Droid Ultra? Let us know in the comments below.
