Sonos Android App Gets Updated

Today, the Sonos app for Android got a nice little update. Here's the full changelog from Google Play:

The Sonos Controller for Android now plays music and podcasts directly from your Android smartphone and tablet.


Verizon Begins Its DROID marketing Campaign


Today, Verizon and Motorola announced the Droid Mini, Droid Ultra and Droid Maxx. They also began marketing the crap out of the three devices. You can see one of the ads shown above.

SpaceTeam Trailer

SpaceTeam for Android's trailer has come out today. You can see it above, it looks pretty cool and you can assemble a crew of friends and have fun.


Minecraft Skin Studio Launched

Today, Minecraft Skin Studio launched on Android in the Play Store, with lots of Pixelated Glory. It's on sale for $2.99 on the Google Play Store.

Vodafone responds to Verizon's Deal


Vodafone owns part of Verizon Wireless, which is keeping Verizon out of Canada at this time. There was a rumor going around that Verizon would buy Vodafone's stake back and AT&T would buy the rest of Vodafone. Today, Vodafone said they'd consider the Verizon offer which is pretty awkward in my opinion.


AT&T Announces Q2 earnings


AT&T Announced their Q2 earnings today. They brought in $32 billion  in revenue, along with 6.8 million smartphone sales.  The company added 551,000 wireless postpaid customers, 35% of the postpaid smartphone base are LTE capable, smartphone data usage per device is up 50% year over year.

Cincinnati Bell's HTC One Skipping Android 4.2?



It looks like Cincinnati Bell is skipping Android 4.2 and going straight to Android 4.3. We've heard the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 are doing the same. Which is good news for those with the HTC One, especially on Cincinnati Bell
