Samsung's Galaxy Tab 8.0 Shows up in Black with White Trim

If there's one thing we know about Samsung, its the fact that they like to release new colors of devices they already have available. Like the black and purple Galaxy S3's last year for Verizon and Sprint respectively. We've already seen a gold-brown Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and now we are seeing a black one with white trim. Which looks rather...different. Even the home button is in white. We might be seeing this new color unveiled at Samsung's Premiere event next week in London, but the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 has already been announced.

Don't get this one confused with the Galaxy Note 8.0, this is more of a traditional tablet (besides the physical buttons). Here's what it's packing:

  • 8-inch display with a 1280x800 resolution
  • dual-core 1.5GHz processor
  • 1.5GB of RAM
  • 5MP camera on the back, 1.3MP on the front
  • 4450mAh battery
  • Android 4.2.2
  • Wi-Fi, and LTE connectivity

We're expecting the Galaxy Tab 3 family of tablets to launch any day now. As it was rumored to launch in June or July. And since it was announced a couple weeks ago, it could be launched any day now. It'll probably begin it's launch over in the UK and Europe and make its way to the US by the fall. Take a look at the pictures below from Techtastic. Check out the Black and white Galaxy Tab 3 8.0.

So what do you think about this tablet? Is it one that you'd pick up? Or is it just too ugly and you'll stay as far away from it as possible? I think it looks interesting. It's definitely something I didn't expect from Samsung. Let us know in the comments down below.
