Our favorite tipster, @evleaks has discovered a new LG device that's under testing with T-Mobile right now. It appears to be the Optimus F6 from LG. We've heard that T-Mobile had an LG device they were testing, but many figured it was the Optimus F3, which we've seen in press renders for Sprint already. You can tell by the yellow tag at the top of the phone that it is the F6. But as far as the 'NewCo' part of the tag goes. That is most likely in reference to the T-Mobile/MetroPCS deal. Which obviously means that this device is recent.
Could this be the first device to work on both MetroPCS and T-Mobile? Well that would be interesting, but we have no idea. Since we've never heard of the Optimus F6, it could be a T-Mobile exclusive. But it would be pretty awesome if it worked on T-Mobile and MetroPCS' network, since T-Mobile is GSM and MetroPCS is CDMA, it might be a bit tricky.
So far we have nothing in terms of specs, even doing a quick Google search shows no results for specs. But I'd say this is around a 4.5-inch device, based on the picture. So nothing like the Optimus G Pro, in terms of screen space. I'd expect a mid-range to high-end device for the Optimus F6. But nothing that can really compete with the Galaxy S4 or HTC One. But who knows at this point.
That's all we've got at this point, thanks to our friend, Blurrycam. Hopefully @evleaks can dig up some more goodies for us about the Optimus F6. What are your thoughts on the Optimus F6? Would you buy an LG device on T-Mobile? Let us know in the comments below.
