There have been a couple of livestream videos posted on Google’s Developer website, which appear to be Chrome Mobile events coming up in June. One is set for June 7th at 1pm EDT, and the other for June 13th at 11am EDT. It seems pretty odd for Google to have these events. Given it’s only a few weeks after Google I/O, and we’ve never seen Chrome host their own event. Never mind 2 separate events for Mobile Chrome.
This leaves us wondering what does Google have up their sleeve with the Mobile Chrome team? Possibly more desktop browser integration? Extension support for mobile Chrome? Who knows. We could spend the next week or so dreaming and speculating, which we probably will anyways. But make sure you join us for these events. As usual we’ll be covering every bit of it. You can also watch them down below.
So what do you think mobile Chrome has planned for us? Honestly, I was hoping it would be an Android event. We all know that Android 4.3 is coming soon. We’ve seen leak after leak after rumor about it. We’ve even heard that it might be getting announced on June 10th. Which, unless they aren’t inviting any press, probably won’t be happening since it’s just over a week away. But hey, Google did announce Android 4.2 through a press release, along with the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10. So stranger things have happened before.
Let us know in the comments down below what you think the mobile Chrome team might have in store for us on two separate events in the next couple of weeks. Make sure to come back to Android Headlines for all the news regarding these two events.
