HTC Droid DNA's Sense 5 Update Due this Summer

We all know the story, with HTC's update process. HTC has been notoriously slow with updating their devices. But some new information that surfaced this week shows that last year's HTC devices are due to get Sense 5 with Android 4.2 this summer. That would include the HTC One X, HTC One X+, HTC One S, and HTC Butterfly in addition to the HTC Droid DNA.

HTC One Update Now Rolling out



The T-Mobile HTC One Variant received an update this week. It's a fairly small update but brings "system enhancements". It brings the device up to software version 1.27.531.8 on Android 4.1.2. The Android 4.2.2 update is also due out this summer. You can check out the T-Mobile HTC One software update page.

ASUS Padfone 2 Updated to version

This week, the ASUS Padfone 2 received an update to version which includes some tweaks. The full ROM is also available for download.

HTC One Getting Android 4.2.2 in Mid-June



According to the HTC Russia Head, Android 4.2.2 should be available for the HTC One coming later this month. This update will more than likely bring Sense 5.1 along for the ride. We don't know exactly what to expect with Sense 5.1, but we'll definitely see some bug fixes for Sense 5.
