One of the best things about Android is the customization. It’s just something you can’t get on iOS or even Blackberry. Android allows you to install third-party launchers like Nova, Apex, and Go Launchers all without rooting your device. We’ve already shown you how to install a launcher, so we’re going to show you how to apply an icon pack on that launcher. For this example, I’ll be using Stark icon pack which is in the Play Store.

Nova Launcher

  1. Go into Nova Settings
    2013-06-12 12.19.51
  2. Tap on ‘Look and Feel’
    2013-06-12 12.20.04
  3. Next tap on ‘Icon Theme’
    2013-06-12 12.20.07
  4. Select the icon theme you wish to choose (in this example we will choose Stark)
  5. That’s it.

  1. Go into Apex Settings
    2013-06-12 12.15.54
  2. Select ‘Theme Settings’
    2013-06-12 12.15.57
  3. Tap on your icon pack
  4. Finally tap on ‘Apply’
  5. You’re done

Go Launcher EX

  1. Go into ‘GO Themes’
  2. Tap on the Settings button
    2013-06-12 12.17.44
  3. Swipe over to ‘Icons’
  4. Under the ‘Icon Style’ section, tap on Theme icon and select your icon pack
    2013-06-12 12.17.50
  5. Next tap on the Dock icon and select your icon pack
  6. Then tap on the Folder icon and select your icon pack
  7. Finally tap on the Menu icon and select your icon pack
  8. That’s it

That’s just how easy it is to apply an icon pack to a launcher on your device. There are many different launchers you can use, and even more different icon packs available in the Play Store, both free and paid packs.
