Samsung Galaxy S4 on AT&T Starts Shipping...Today!

We reported over the weekend that some Galaxy S4 devices on AT&T would start shipping today. Now we are getting reports from those that pre-ordered the Galaxy S4 on AT&T are getting shipping notifications. Those that want to buy the Galaxy S4 inside AT&T's store, you'll have to wait for April 27th when it officially launches. T-Mobile is launching their Galaxy S4 tomorrow in stores and the HTC One hits T-Mobile stores tomorrow as well.

AT&T's premier customers were told that their orders would arrive on or prior to April 25th, and since they are shipping today, those customers should get them Tomorrow or Thursday. So it looks like AT&T is definitely on schedule with the Galaxy S4 launch. In addition, AT&T has confirmed to us that all customers that pre-ordered before 9AM EST yesterday will receive their Galaxy S4 on or before April 25th. But we don't know if that includes non-premier customers or not.

Either way, by the end of the week the Galaxy S4 will be available in T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint stores. US Cellular has said they'll launch the Galaxy S4 this month but we haven't heard of a release date yet. Verizon is also talking about launching it sometime late May, which is normal Verizon fashion unfortunately. The Galaxy S4 is also making it's way to C Spire and Cricket, but we haven't heard of their plans just yet. Hopefully they'll announce release dates soon.

The Galaxy S4 will be in a tough battle on AT&T's network, since it'll be head-to-head with the iPhone 5 which sold 4.8 million out of the 6 million smartphones last quarter for the carrier. Then there's also the HTC One which is now available at AT&T. But Samsung will sell a boat load of Galaxy S4's.

How many of you pre-ordered your Galaxy S4 from AT&T? Have you gotten your shipment confirmation yet? Let us know in the comments below.
