Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rumored Specs: 5.99-inch Display, 3GB of RAM and Exynos 5 Octa!

Now that the Galaxy S4 is out and making it's way to all the carriers it's going to eventually be available on, it's time to look at some Galaxy Note 3 rumors. We all love rumors right? Well before we get started, it's important that we remind our readers that this is a rumor and could entirely be 100% false. So be sure to take this with a grain of salt, no matter how juicy the specs look on paper, or in this case, on our beautiful site.  Rumors are a part of Android news, which is what we cover, so of course you'll see us reporting on rumors all the time. Now let's dive in.

Sam Mobile and MyDrivers is reporting this weekend, that the specs for the Galaxy Note 3 are:

  • 5.99-inch Full HD Display (probably some AMOLED variant)
  • Exynos 5410 Octa core procesosr, with the A15 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and the A7 at 1.7GHz
  • 3GB of RAM
  • Android 4.2.2

That's all they've given us as far as specs, but you can also pretty much guarantee that we'll see a 16GB model, 32GB model and a 64GB model of the Galaxy Note 3. But the 16GB model will probably be the only one available in the US at launch like with the Galaxy S4.

The picture at the beginning of this article shows what is thought to be the Galaxy Note 3, now as Sam Mobile notes the bezel is pretty big to be the Galaxy Note 3. Another thing is that the model is being called the GT-I9500. Now I might be mistaken, but isn't the Galaxy S4 (Exynos 5 Octa variant) the GT-I9500? It's important to note that in the past, the Galaxy Note series has always started with a N. For instance the Galaxy Note 2 is the N7100.

No matter how true this is, it's still interesting to see that the Exynos 5 Octa has been clocked higher than on the Galaxy S4. Hopefully Samsung won't throw the Snapdragon 800 into the US version of the Galaxy Note 3. What are your thoughts on these specs? Could they be true?
