We’ve heard it before, HTC is struggling. We heard it again this morning when we reported that HTC’s profit for Q1 was the lowest they’ve had in quite a while. Now anyone that knows me, knows I’m an HTC fan. I love their build quality of their devices, the only thing I don’t like is Sense. Now there’s no doubt about it, HTC has some of the best looking and built hardware on the market. But they don’t know how to market it or send out updates in a timely fashion.
Now looking at the bright (or brighter?) side, Richard Lai who is Engadget Chinese’s Editor-in-Chief has put together some renders as shown through out this post, of different color schemes for the HTC One. While they do look pretty nice. I’d trade the Silver and Red one (looks to much like Ohio State’s colors) and have one that’s Blue and yellow/maize. That’s right I’m a Michigan fan, and we all know that they are in the National Championship tonight against Louisville in Atlanta. So what brought that up? Well the one render posted below, looks a lot like a Lakers’ branded phone, in fact you can see the Lakers on the back. Then there’s also this thread on Google+ I created.
So why do we say “If the HTC One was a Windows phone?” Well we’ve all seen how colorful Windows Phone’s are. Especially HTC and Nokia ones. Although I don’t think they’ve ever done a phone with two colors like these.
So here we go, check out all these renders from Richard Lai at Engadget. There are plenty to choose from, I’m sure you’ll find one in there you’ll like. Let us know in the comments down below which one you’d like to get your hands on. Or if you’d like to see another color scheme.
