Today, we are taking a look at the PadPivot from our friends over at Gearzap. The PadPivot is a great accessory that will work for just about every phone and tablet. This accessory makes it easy to prop up your Tablet, eReader or your phone on a desk. It provides plenty of stability with plenty of ways to use it. It features a suction cup which sticks to the back of your phone or tablet. There’s also a dock-like part on the other side of the PadPivot where you can go ahead and stand your phone or tablet there. It’s a simple yet very useful accessory, and it’s definitely on my “must-have” list.
I’ve been using the PadPivot for about a week now. I’ve had it on my desk, so when I’m working I just throw my Nexus 4 on it (okay not literally throwing it). Then I can listen to music, watch/listen to my favorite podcasts, even surf Twitter, Tumblr, and Google+ with it. Makes it easier than just laying it on my desk. It works great with the Nexus 7 as well. The PadPivot folds away very easily as well, just fold in the legs, or you can take the suction cup off and put it underneath where the legs would go. You can see exactly how to do it in the video below.
The PadPivot is, well to me anyways, like a dock except you won’t have to buy a new one for every device. And if you get a Nexus device, you won’t have to wait 6-8 months for the dock to be available. I really like having it on my desk, and you’ll probably see it pop up in more video reviews in the future. The PadPivot is £24.99 from Gearzap which translates to about $38 USD. You can pick one up today, and I’m sure you’re going to love it.
