Huawei A199; 5-inch 720p Smartphone

Huawei are certainly no stranger to delivering devices that are on the larger side of things and the A199 is definitely a device that fits that bill. The 5-inch smartphone comes with a 720p IPS Display, a K3V2 CPU with four cores at 1.5Ghz and 2GB of RAM. Storage is taken care of with 8GB onboard and then support for microSD cards up to 32GB. THere's a 2,150 mAh battery, Android 4.1, an 8-MP camera and dual-SIM support. The device should be hitting China and other parts of Asia fairly soon now.

Lenovo K900 Goes on Sale from May 6th


Chinese readers will be happy to note that they'll be able to get their hands on the Intel Clover Trail+ packing K900, which is one super-fast smartphone. Not only is it a fast phone but, thanks to the quality build from Lenovo it's a good looker as well! There's Android 4.2 on board as well as a 1080p display. The version Australia will be getting comes with the Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.9 Ghz, regardless of how you feel about the whole Exynos vs Snapdragon gulf, it's a fast CPU. HTC One J Leaks for Japan


Those in Japan will soon be able to get their hands on the HTC One, if this leak is anything to go by. It'll be called the HTC One J and should be hitting the KDDI au network as the above leaked picture suggests. This could mean that there isn't going to be a follow-up to the Butterfly in Japan but, HTC could do anything at this point. It's good to see the One head to as many markets as possible. HTC One Announced for China With Extra Features


The One is a great device but, in China it's getting a little change from the rest of the world. The device will be offered up in China with microSD card support and dual-SIM support. The battery is still very much off-limits but, microSD support might be the icing on the cake for a lot of you. There's no word on carrier deals for China but, it should be available to buy directly from HTC starting today!

Acer Announces Liquid E2 for Europe 


First off, this is the first quad-core smartphone from Acer with dual-SIM support but, if you were hoping that would make for an overall better device, you'd be wrong. The Liquid E2 packs a 4.5-inch qHD (that's just 960 x 540) a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera, microSD support and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The qHD display is the real downer here but, the price tag of just €229 in Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, France, Spain, UK, Italy, Germany, and Russia might make up for it. Expect to see the Liquid E2 from the middle of May.

Oppo's R809T Officially Announced, Not the World's Thinnest Phone


Oppo looked all set to announce the thinnest phone in the world but, that's not going to be the case with the R809T coming in at 6.93mm, which is still incredibly thin. Narrowly missing that title, the device also comes packing a 4.7-inch HD (720p) display, a 1.2 Ghz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera and Android 4.2 from launch. That's an impressive spec sheet for a device that's so thin, the device is said to be launching today there should be even more info later today.
