AH Best Android Apps Weekly: April 4th, 2013

Swapps! All Apps, Everywhere

Swapps is a cool new launcher that brings you your apps everywhere inside the Android OS. It's actually pretty simple. You just swipe in from either side of your phone or tablet (which is user configurable) and you've got your whole list of installed apps right there. Bringing multi-tasking to a whole new level.

Feedly

With the recent news of Google Reader getting closed down on July 1st, Feedly has enjoyed an extra 3 million users switching over to their service. They've made it pretty easy to switch over too. This week they launched a new version of their app with a few new features. Feedly is a nice RSS news reader which has support for Google+, Twitter and Buffer sharing along with sending articles over to Pocket to read later on. This is my reader of choice, so make sure you add Android Headlines to your RSS feed on Feedly or whatever RSS reader you are using.

Parking Mania

Time to throw a game into this week's Android Apps weekly feature. This one is by Chillingo. Basically Parking Mania is a great, easy to learn, hard to master style game that will make you continue to come back for more and more. There are hidden areas and pick ups along with time-based bonuses and a driving experience that ranges from easy to pretty difficult. You'll want to give this one a try. It's available for free in the Play Store.

BaconReader for Reddit

I'm sure most of you out there surf Reddit from time to time. Well what app should you use? Well one of our favorites is BaconReader. Mostly because it has a holo-ish UI which looks pretty good. BaconReader is made by OneLouder Apps, they are the same company that makes everyone's favorite old school Twitter app Tweetcaster. I've been using BaconReader for a few months now, and love it so I bought the paid version to get rid of the ads. Well worth it for $1.99.

Messaging + Google Voice

How many of you use Google Voice? Probably a good number of you. Well this app brings you the stock messaging app, along with some Google Voice capabilities. It features sending Google Voice messages over Data or Wifi connections, Google Voice and carrier message popup notifications with quick reply, it also uses your stock messaging database making it easy to back up.
