Featured Review: FlexiShield Wave Case for the Nexus 7

The Nexus 7 has a ton of great cases and other accessories, right? Well here's one you probably haven't seen or even heard of before. Well at least I hadn't. It's the FlexiShield Wave case for the Nexus 7 and it's from Mobile Fun, which is located in the UK. So what exactly is this case? It's a very flexible, but tough case which is made of a gel material. It also offers protection along with access to all the ports and buttons on the device. Which is something the official ASUS Nexus 7 case doesn't even do. It's also very thin, so it doesn't make the device any thicker or heavier.

The Design of this case is very sleek, it's completely black with a nice "S" type shape on the back which is quite shiny. It's a great looking case, and makes the Nexus 7 look even better than before. I've said before that I don't normally put cases on my devices. In fact since I got the Nexus 7 last July (pre-order), it hasn't been in a case for more than a few days. Since I got this case in for review, it's been in the case the entire time. I haven't even thought about taking it out. It's like a perfect fit for the Nexus 7 and blends right in.

If you're looking for a nice case for your Nexus 7, one that will protect it without adding extra bulk, this one should be on your list. It's on sale for $16 from Mobile Fun, and it's worth every penny. This isn't the only Nexus 7 case that Mobile Fun sells, they have plenty of others to choose from, including a few DODOCases. The FlexiShield Wave case comes in clear, purple, blue, red and pink, in addition to the black one that I received. Personally, I think the black one looks the best, since it fits right in with the aesthetics of the Nexus 7. If you're interested in grabbing this case, you can head over to Mobile Fun's website and check them out. You can check out the gallery below for more pictures of this case.
