Sony have had a good showing at this year's CES and there's no denying that the secret behind all this is perhaps the Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL, both devices that come with stunning Full HD displays and the powerful quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro. For the first time in what seems forever, Sony have brought devices to the market that bring with them not only great design but finally, up-to-date internals as well. Sony are obviously pretty proud about these new devices, so proud of them that they feel the need to show them off in a mass off videos.
There are a lot of videos to run through – Sony have really gone all out here it would seem so, we're going to break them up for you.
Sony Xperia Z
The latest flagship from Sony is a device that is not only stunning but extremely capable as well thanks to the Snapdragon S4 Pro running the show. There's a lot to take in when it comes to Sony's design here and luckily, they have a couple of videos to show us just how sexy the Xperia Z is.
Not only is the Xperia Z a good looking phone, with a trio of color options: white, black and purple but, it's what Sony is calling "the best of Sony" in one device:
When it comes to the design of this new phone I think that Sony has absolutely nailed it. There's a ton of industrial design here and it looks like no other smartphone on the market right now, that's a little hard to say when it looks like a slate of glass but it's very subtle and striking all at the same time. If you were to put this next to a Galaxy S III, I'd take the Xperia Z every single time.
The Z is a great device for capturing content as well as sharing it, thanks to the Exmor RS sensor that delivers a 13MP camera and easy screen mirroring to give your content the big show it deserves.
Above all, the most compelling thing for some of you out there might be the stunning performance and the fact that Sony has not made battery life an afterthought and have done their best to get the most out of the Xperia Z's battery.
The Xperia ZL is a very close cousin of the Xperia Z and while it might be not as good as the Xperia Z in every respect, the 1080 display and quad-core S4 Pro are still present. Making for a stunning device in its own right. Sony have a lot to write home about when it comes to the ZL as well.
What is bizarre is that a lot of the videos for the Xperia ZL are similar to that of the videos of the Xperia Z.
