21 Days of Android Gifts: Day #17: Mophie Juice Pack for Galaxy S III

It's getting so close to Christmas now that I should probably be saying something like "can you hear the sleigh bells?" but, I won't and I'm not going to. What I am going to do however is suggest yet another gift idea. It's getting really quite close and so this might be some of the last days to get something before the big day. Today I'm going to be suggesting another way of keeping your device's battery life alive - it doesn't matter what mobile operating system you're running, there will always be issues surrounding battery life. For years now our smartphones have gotten faster, bigger and well, smarter - batteries however, have not. Thanks to this dilemma there are now a whole lot of different ways to extend the length of your battery.

One of the best ways to get more juice out of your Galaxy S III is through a Mophie Juice Pack, once the private regard of iPhone users, Mophie has bought the Juice Pack to the best-selling Android phone out there. I know what you're thinking - another Galaxy S III accessory. It's unfortunate that a lot of the market is focusing on the latest flagship from Samsung - hell, I'd want one of these for my One X but, with the phone available on all major carriers and super-popular you can't blame Mophie for going where the money is.

The Juice Pack is available in just black or white so, if you bought any of Samsung's more whacky colors then I'm afraid you're out of luck. The pack fits around the phone and will make it quite a bit taller and somewhat thicker but, it's a good fit and leaves little exposed - unlike cheaper battery packs out there. The battery life on the Galaxy S III in pretty good as it is but, if you're a heavy user then having more battery is always a bonus and with the extra 2300 mAh this provides, there should be enough to handle the longest of days.

By now, you should have done all of your Christmas shopping - I know I have - but, if you're still a little stuck then keep it locked to Android Headlines as we'll have a new idea for you everyday and you can always take a look at our buying guide.
