It's getting pretty close to Christmas and there's less and less time for you to get your shopping done ready for the 25th. There's a lot that you can get online but then you've got to worry about shipping and whether it will arrive in time or not. Often, a gift card is the answer but, for us Android lovers there's not a lot that we don't already have and we're a picky bunch. However, there's one thing that you can be sure we'll love: free apps and game from the Play Store.
When there aren't any free apps to give out then the next best thing to get one of us Android fanatics is a Google Play gift card. Available in $10, $25 or $50 you can spend a little or a lot and whomever you give them to can redeem them against anything they like in the Play Store. Which is pretty nice when you think about it, they can spend some on games and then on apps and maybe a little music - whatever they want to keep themselves busy over the Christmas period.
We've been waiting for a long time for the Play Store to accept gift cards and considering Apple's iTunes has had them for some time now it's been a long time coming. It's especially useful if you yourself are a little wary of using your credit card or just like to limit yourself to how much you can spend on apps and games. I know that if I gave myself the chance I would be spending far too much on games.
The Play Store gift cards are especially great gifts if you don't quite know what to get them - you know, the type of relative that has all sorts of technology and has everything taken care of, just like me. If you were to push the boat out and buy a $50 gift card then I'm sure your Android loving friends and family will be really happy with you! To find out the nearest stores carrying the cards, head over to this page from Google.
