We've got some great apps below for you, including some for particular stores, and some from your favorite online places like eBay and Amazon. So shall we get started with number ten on our list?
10. Google Wallet
For those who don't own the Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7, Nexus 4, Nexus 10, HTC EVO 4G LTE, Sprint's Galaxy S3, and a few other devices, you may be unaware of Google Wallet. It's basically your mobile wallet. Using NFC (Near Field Communication) it allows you to pay for items by waving your phone over the debit/credit card machine at some stores. This works at CVS, McDonalds, and a few other places as well. It's pretty cool, because you now longer have to bring your credit card with you.
Using the Target app for Android, it makes it easier than ever to find your favorite products at Target and order them straight from your device. You can also find items in your local store, manage you REDcard, track and refill prescriptions as well from the Pharmacy. If you're a big Target shopper, you'll love this app and it'll be a must download. Especially for the holiday season.
8. Amazon Price Check
With Amazon's Price Check you can scan the barcode, take a picture or just type the name of the product you are looking at to see if there are lower prices on Amazon's website. The Price Check app also allows you to purchase directly from the App. This is especially useful if you're in a store and you think the device you're looking at has a great price on a device, you can search Amazon to see if they have it even cheaper. It's a must have app for shoppers.
Who doesn't love Groupon? They always have great deals in your local area. And now it's available on your Android device. The Groupon app will show you deals on different products and allow you to buy them straight from the app. This is a bad thing if you don't have self control, you'll be broke before you know it. Groupon always has great things for a steal. For Example, today they have a $140 Powerbag for just $35, not that's a steal!
6. Google Offers
We are always looking for good deals right? Well Google Offers helps to make bargain hunting a little bit easier. Google Offers provides you with daily deals in your city. There are thousands of offers that you can purchase now or simply save for later. Of course with it being a Google app, you expect a clean interface right? Well Google didn't let you down in that department. The interface looks great!
With Best Buy's Android app you can look up products, get prices, check your Reward Zone balance, buy products and more. This app makes it even easier to buy stuff on the go and stop by your local Best Buy and pick them up. If you're a frequent customer of Best Buy, you'll love this app.
4. Barcode Scanner
This is a pretty simple app. It allows you to scan barcodes and get prices as well as more information. As you can see above, you can also search for the product, or if it's a book you can search for it in Google Books, search the contents and even find it in Google Shopper. Like I said it's a really simple app, but very useful, especially when you're out shopping.
Who doesn't love eBay? They constantly are having some great deals on top-of-the-line Android devices like the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Note 2. The eBay app for Android recently got a major user interface overhaul and it looks amazing. Inside the app you can search for items, bid on your favorite items and even checkout without having to head to a computer. Pretty convenient right?
2. Google Shopper
Want to buy a new coat from the comfort of your living room? Of course you could do this with a laptop, but your phone is much more convenient right? Google Shopper let's you do just that. With Google Shopper you can find local and online pricing, read reviews of the products, see specifications and much more. It's a great app for those shopaholics out there.
1. Amazon Mobile
And our number one pick is Amazon Mobile. Simple because Amazon is so popular and so many of us use it. The Amazon Mobile app is basically the mobile web version of Amazon's website, but it's so much easier to use in an app. It also just got updated not to long ago to support Tablet layouts like on the Nexus 10, and Galaxy Note 10.1. If you're a huge fan of Amazon, this is the app for you.
